Dr.Deadly is the last decendent in a long line of mad
scientists.He was born and raised in a mysterious part of the United
States known as the Dark Mountains. (The Dark Mountains were secretly
settled by alchemists almost 1000 years ago) Dr.Deadly spent much of
his early youth exploring the Dark Mountains, playing in the family
graveyard, befriending the many supernatural denizens of the Dark Mountains
and studying the many unpublished scientific papers written by his father,grandfather,
and great grandfather.When Dr.Deadly's father died of radiation poisoning
it left quite a scar on the boyhood Dr Deadly. He vowed that one day
he would find a cure for death and bring his dead father back. Over
his lifetime Dr. Deadly has invented a vast array of amazing hi-tech
inventions. From time-machines to interstellar space craft his list
of psuedo-scientific achivements are unreal. Yet despite his unbelievable
achievments the Dr. has been unable to truly return the dead to life.
However,it would seem that he has come quite close. Using his life machine
invention he was once able to briefly return his recently deceased Uncle
Ned back to life. But while reanimating the body it seemed that something
was missing in the soul and Uncle Ned soon returned to his grave.More
recently this point was tragically driven home. After Dr. Deadlys wife
Lisa was brutally murdered while he was away
in space, the guilt-ridden Dr ignored his previous mistake with Uncle
Ned and decided to risk using the life machine once again.Tragically
it failed once again as well. Now Lisa is a
shambling undead abomination, unable to live and unable to die.Her un-living
presence is a constant reminder to Dr.Deadly of his greatest failure.
Despite his failures, Dr. Deadly continues to invent and strives to
find a way to cure his dead wife Lisa and to make good on the vow he
made to himself those many years ago.
